Fried Goat Cheese (over salad)



My favorite thing ever!! My mom made this for me years ago and I fell in love. It is simple to make and is a unique way to change up your regular go to salad. Make it for guests, and they will definitely be impressed!


What you will need-
1 roll of goat cheese (small roll makes about 5)
1 egg, whisked
1/2 cup of seasoned breadcrumbs
2-3 tbs of olive oil
2 separate bowls

Directions-
1. Slice the roll of goat cheese into ~1" slices. Dip each wedge into the egg wash, then breadcrumb mixture.

2. Heat olive oil in small pan on medium-low heat.

3. Fry each wedge for 45-60 seconds on each side. Watch carefully to avoid burning.

4. Serve immediately, warm.
